Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is now used for much more han relaxation.  It can be used to treat many conditions such as low back pain, headaches, and tendonitis.  Therapeutic effects include increased circulation, and decreased muscle spasm, cramps and soreness.  Masage therapy works hand in hand with chiropractic care in returning your musculoskeletal system to a balanced state.  Harrison Chiropractic has four massage therapists on staff.  Schedule your massage in advance or request one with your adjustment.

Nutritional Assessment

Unless you are getting the right amount of vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids, your body will not heal itself as fast as it should.  Long-term deficiencies of these nutrients will result in chronic spinal conditions and chronic pain.  We utilize Metagenics ( www.metagenics.com), Ortho-molecular ( www.orthomolecularproducts.com), and Biotics Research ( www.bioticsresearch.com) nutritional products to promote optimal health and healing.

Disc Decompression Therapy

We are the only office in Western Mchigan to utilize the American Back Solution's Disc Decompression technology.  This therapeatic device tagets a specific segment of the spine to releive pressurecaused by compressive forces.  Conditions that may bebefit from this decompression therapy includes disc bulge and herniation, disc degeneration, sciatica, spinal stenosis/arthritis and facet syndrome.  The doctors at Harrison Chiropractic Center can help you determine if disc decompression therapy is right for you.

Custom Made Orthotics

 You may be wondering what orthotics have to do with the spine.  Your feet are your foundation.  If your feet are not properly supported,  you can develop postural problems throughout your body.  Our new foot scanner By Footlevelers ( www.footlevelers.com) will quickly diagnose what foot and ankle dysfunctions may be resulting in your hip or back pain.  The foot scan is then also used as a template for the custom made orthotics.
